What are Light and Love Art Classes?

Light and Love art classes are personal growth art classes that allow you to explore emotional and personal growth through the safe medium of visual art. In this class you will be led through an experience that allows you to connect with your innermost self, expressing desires, emotions, and connection to intuition through the format of physical 2-D artwork. You will have the opportunity to explore multiple medium options and various visual expressions. This is not “performative art” in which we copy and create the same image, this is a truly personalized experience that allows you to express your experience in a way that feels unique and true to yourself. Throughout the class, Rose will be your guide in exploring these growth opportunities. She will also be your guide in encouraging confidence in your artwork through guidance unique to your personal artistic expression and style. The center of this class is YOU and YOUR INDIVIDUAL GROWTH, first and foremost. Classes will be small with no more than 20 people per class. Classes are available for ALL ages and expertise levels. Various 2-D supplies will be provided with the cost of the ticket, all we ask you bring is an open mindset and willingness to learn :).

Hawks represent strength, elegance, and resilience. Their intuitive nature, strong hunting skills, and resourceful nature make them powerful predators native to the Arkansas forests. The also remind us that as such a powerful creature they can instill powerful insight into navigating difficult, seemingly unyielding environments. Allow us to adventure through this journey together with the powerful hawk as our guide.This class will be graciously hosted at Cafe 1217, located at 1217 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901 on Saturday, November 9, 2024 2:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m. Amazing beverages, food and desserts of Cafe 1217 will be available for purchase prior to and following the event. Did you know that the wisps of dandelions are actually seeds? The dandelion, also known as the milkweed plant has been known as a healing herb for thousands of years. Explore this adventure with me as I guide you into planting and nourishing your wishes into healing dreams come true.This class will be graciously hosted at Tula Yoga, located at 13954 Central Ave K, Hot Springs, AR 71913 on Monday, November 11, 2024 7:15-8:30 p.m. This event will be following a yoga class from 6-7pm you are welcome to join for the yoga class, but not required. Purchase for yoga class can be made through Tula. Please purchase tickets in advance of event to allow adequate planning of resources. K-3 After School "Mini Artist" Classes

Ready to encourage your “mini artist” in their pursuit of artistic skill and expression of self? In these classes hosted by Emergent Arts and led by Rose Guzman, she will be taking your little ones on a story time adventure, after which your mini artists will be given the opportunity to express their adventure through physical artwork. Rose will be encouraging art techniques including the use of pencil, crayon, paints, shading, texture, and color theory to name a few. While instilling these critical skills and techniques she will also be encouraging freedom of expression and imagination to support expressive artists in their truest forms. Rose finds that it is important that the inner child never lose hope in their imagination and expression because this after all is what so many adult artists seek to recover throughout their artistic journey. This class will not only encourage skill but allow each child to develop a style and expression that is unique and true to themselves. (No copy and paste artists here ;p!)
